Weststar Celebrates Nigeria at 59

On the 1^st of October 2019, Nigeria celebrated 59 years since she gained her independence as a sovereign nation in 1960. This great occasion was celebrated all around the country as well as in the diaspora. At Weststar Associates Limited, Authorized General Distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Nigeria, the management and staff decided to celebrate this day in a particularly colourful way.

Members of staff in the Lagos and Abuja branches gathered at the office in their traditional attires to celebrate this landmark day in the history of Nigeria. The theme was celebrating “our unity in diversity”.

As you are aware, Nigeria is blessed with about 250 ethnic groups; and to highlight the theme “our unity in diversity”, different members of staff came to the office representing their various descents. It was colorful to see members of staff elaborate in outfits that embodied various cultural significances.
