Weststar holds Actros training for drivers from Biswal Nigeria Limited.

Last month, Weststar held a two-week training for drivers from one of our fleet owners, Biswal Nigeria Limited. This training which held at the Mercedes-Benz center, Lekki, focused on the drivers’ proficiency with the Mercedes-Benz Actros. The training sessions included practical sessions with the Actros as well as class room sessions for the technical aspects of the training.

The training was facilitated by our Daimler certified technical trainer for Trucks, Mr. Ebenezer Balogun. The training included sessions on proper handling of the vehicle, Interpreting the information display on the instrument cluster, making use of the intelligent gear shift, understanding how to effectively use the onboard computer, driving the Actros with minimum risk to other road users and identifying when the Actros is due for service.

Mr. Ebenezer Balogun is a seasoned professional trainer for Weststar Associates Limited, he has trained over 1000 drivers in his capacity as Daimler’s authorized technical trainer. He has also well-traveled and trained drivers for different fleet owners from Julius Berger to Buildwell among others.
