Weststar supports 2019 Nigerian Auto Journalists Training workshop.

Weststar Associates Limited has been a vocal supporter of the Nigerian Auto industry. One way in which we demonstrate this is by continually supporting the Nigerian Auto Journalists as they have proved to be a big contributor in the Nigerian auto industry particularly in their continuous effort to build capacity and push agenda for the automobile industry, through debates on how things could be better and creating an enabling/more sustainable environment for investment in the auto industry.

In July, the Nigerian Auto Journalist Association (NAJA) held its 4^th annual training workshop in Lagos. The one-day workshop had as participants, Motoring journalists across traditional/new media platforms and other industry stakeholders. It featured insightful presentations on various topics by subject matter specialists (on Nigerian Auto policy, Insurance, driving/road safety, etc.) with the aim of building the capacity of journalists and sharing insights on issues bordering on policies as it affects the auto industry with recommendations for not just the government but other key players in putting the industry on the right pedestal.

Our Head of Marketing, Mrs. Beatrice Oyesile was at the event which also had in attendance Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi - Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. Patrick Adenusi – safety expert and direction of Advocacy, and Mr. Jelani Aliyu D.G, National Automotive Design & Development Council among others.
