Team News- April, 2019

In this edition of team news, we feature our new Aftersales Manager, Mr Allan Wells and one of our new NYSC staff from the accounting department, Mr Bankole Stephen Oluwafeyisayo. They tell us about their experience in Weststar so far.

Allan Wells

Allan is originally from the UK and started his Automotive/Transportation career with Renault UK after studying at the Bomley College of Engineering. Allan immigrated to the United States of America and commenced his Heavy Truck and Bus career holding various positions in Sales, Service, Parts, General Management and a Corporate Director.

With extensive background in Fleet Management, Allan has worked for some of the largest Fleet Operators in the USA from Penske Truck Leasing to Waste Management. Supervising over 250 associates and a Fleet of more than 5,500 assets within 34 locations.

Within these operations, Allan has gained extensive knowledge in Bus operations which brings him here to Lagos, Nigeria.

As our Aftersales Manager, he will supervise the Lagos Service Department to serve our customers better. Allan favorite Mercedes-Benz model is the CLS 550AMG. We wish Allan every success and congratulate him in joining the Weststar Team.

Bankole Stephen Oluwafeyisayo

Bankole Stephen Oluwafeyisayo recently joined the Accounting department at Weststar as a Youth Corp member. He describes himself as a quick learner and an extrovert. He enjoys the good working atmosphere at the office and he believes this has helped him with getting along with other members of staff.

An Accounting graduate from Yaba College of Technology, Bankole aspires to be proficient in the latest accounting software and technology, this is something he has been benefitting so far since he joined Weststar. He has also found an opportunity to expand his working knowledge in other aspects of accounting especially when it comes to Financial Reporting, inventory Management and Cost Accounting.

Bankole hails from Osun state, he has prior experience in accounting from his IT days at Adesola Awolola and Co. His favorite quote is from Rashedur Ryan Rahman; “Your vision and your self-willingness are the most powerful elements to conquer your goal”. He also hopes to achieve his long-term career goals at Weststar. Bankole’s favorite Mercedes-Benz model is the Mercedes-Benz GLC 43 AMG.
