Weststar Staff Undergo Mercedes-Benz Global Training
For any organization to perform better, enhance its functional ability and continually stay relevant in a rapidly changing global business environment, capacity development of its staff must be at the front burner.
Mercedes-Benz in association with Weststar Associates Limited recently organized a training for members of the Weststar team in Lagos. The training was facilitated by Mercedes-Benz Global Training Academy and was specifically for the Sales and After-sales departments.
The training, an initiative of Weststar Associates Limited, was aimed at improving the behavior and sales competence of the staff. Philipps Nevermann, an experienced trainer with the Mercedes-Benz Global Academy conducted the Passenger Cars Competence in Customer contact training for the departments.
The main aim of the training session was to equip the Sales and After-Sales executives with the necessary communication guide for customer-oriented dialogs and to familiarize them with different models of perceptive communication for everyday activities.
In a related development, Weststar’s Abuja office staff were also not left out of the training too. Its After-sales passenger cars system technicians were equipped with latest knowledge on Chassis and Active Safety. The Abuja office’s Mercedes-Benz Global training, was focused on Brake Control and Active Driving Assistance systems for passenger cars and was facilitated by Mercedes-Benz Global Training Consultant, Ahmed Ben Hosni.
With the evolution of new generation cars, the newly trained technicians can assertively operate passenger vehicles using the latest and updated systems of diagnosis in Mercedes-Benz. They were also trained on Airmatic, Air Body Control and Magic Body Control for passenger cars.
